The Bandung trip: Part 2

The city is a stark contrast between rich and poor. From the well decorated modern shopping complexes to the road side peddlars. Culturally a city of musicians i would say,... at every road junction, you will get street musicians entertaining for the extra cash from the weary drivers awaiting the next "green" from the traffic lights.
It is also home to a number of Universities eg Universitas Padjadjaran (A numberof Malaysian doctors graduated from here) and the Institut Teknologi Bandung to name a few.

But those with a passion for branded goods would love this place. It is overwhelmed with shops and factory outlets...My wife liked this best (she bought herself 4, yes i mean FOUR, handbags on this trip. Of course my kids have their share of the shopping budget too...very small share..hahahahah

Bandung is also a city where food is abundant in the form of good restaurants western and local...but we spent our three days in either Sunda or Padang food restaurants...and they do not cost a bomb!!!
The adventurous would try the hawker food..
