Oh well, this afternoon we celebrated an alumni member who decided to retire from work and "balik kampong" to KB...
So we took him out to lunch for a get together...of course Jik voluntarily foot the bill. it was a good get together for old times sake. By the way, the group are ex LLN sponsored students who were sent to study in Brighton UK back in 1979. Some continued to stay with TNB but a few had left for "greener pastures" and Kime is one of them. Coincidently this is also our 30th anniversary since we set foot in Brighton.
We do look a lot different after 30 years but the friendship remains the same i suppose...good to reminisce on the good old days, and we had a good laugh over the Kelantanese menu lunch which was held at Anis's corner in Pantai Dalam. rather apt for celebrating a friend who is going back to kelantan to retire.
